Via Vulcan

I see hanging shoulders all around

9 to 5 drags them down

I see weary eyes and concrete walls

Is it this we've been waiting for?

I see promises and broken dreams

Twighlight excuses when it seems

That the shortest path may not be the smartest one

But it's way easier to take

I lock myself up in a room and smile

There's nothing left for me to do then cry

And so I roll via Vulcan, all alone

And it's isolation that I fear

3000 friends, none of them here

It's the whole world carried in my hand

and the load keeps getting heavier
